Sergii Koretskyi held a phone conversation with Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius

Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius and expressed gratitude for Lithuania’s consistent support of Ukraine.

“Ukraine places great hopes on Lithuania’s presidency of the EU Council in 2027 and its steadfast support for our European integration. The Government will accelerate the implementation of necessary reforms on the path to EU membership,” noted the Head of Government.

The parties discussed cooperation in the energy sector: diversification of liquefied gas supplies and support in preparation for winter, as well as strengthening sanctions pressure on russia.

They also spoke separately about the development of defense cooperation and the implementation of the Drone Deal initiative.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine invited Mindaugas Sinkevičius to visit Ukraine in the near future.
