Last night, russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine's civilian and energy infrastructure. Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and other regions were targeted.

In Kyiv, the enemy once again hit heat-generating facilities. As a result of the strike, heat supply has been suspended for about 2,600 residential buildings in several districts of the capital. More than 1,100 buildings remain without heating due to previous massive shelling and damage to the Darnytsia Thermal Power Plant. At the same time, water supply and sewage systems are operating as usual.

In Odesa, about 300,000 residents were left without water supply due to power outages. Nearly 200 buildings are without heating. Work is underway to restart the systems. Where possible, backup power sources are being used.

In Dnipro, a massive attack has cut off heat supply to about 10,000 customers. An alternative source of heat energy is currently being launched. Block-modular boiler rooms are being launched to ensure the operation of social institutions.

Energy workers, rescuers, and utility services are working on site.

"russia is deliberately targeting critical infrastructure in an attempt to leave Ukrainians without heat and water in the midst of winter. We are doing everything we can to restore basic services as quickly as possible. Work is continuing around the clock. I would like to thank the utility workers, energy workers, rescuers—everyone who is on the ground working to restore basic services to the people," emphasized Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine — Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Oleksii Kuleba.

The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine is in constant coordination with the regions regarding the need for additional equipment and resources for the rapid restoration of infrastructure.

The restoration activity continues.
