STATUS OF THE NETWORKS
Yesterday, an emergency occurred on the 330 kV line of the transmission system operator in Rivne and Volyn regions. A temporary power outage was recorded. The causes are being investigated.
GENERATION
The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is fully sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. There is no shortage.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
At night, the enemy launched another missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. No damage to energy infrastructure was reported.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
A power line in Chernivtsi region was disconnected due to a technological malfunction, temporarily cutting off power to nearly 5,000 consumers.
In Kyiv region, a power line was also disconnected due to technological failures, leaving 1,300 customers without electricity.
In addition, power transmission lines of electricity distribution system operators in Ternopil and Zhytomyr regions were disconnected due to technological failures. No power outages were reported.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE AREAS
Hostile terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. 31 settlements in Donetsk region and 18 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region lost power due to shelling. Some consumers in Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy and Chernihiv regions also lost power due to earlier shelling.
Repair teams are working where the security situation allows.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT DAM BLOW-UP
Efforts are underway to record and eliminate the consequences of the flood caused by the dam blow-up. Power engineers are working to restore electricity supply.
In Kherson, 13,600 consumers are still without power, and 1 settlement in the de-occupied part of the region remains without electricity.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond. As of 06:00, it is 16.60 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
