POWER GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one of the largest-scale attacks on energy facilities. As a result, the transmission system operator was forced to resort to emergency power outages to consumers to maintain and stabilise the situation in the system.
Today, the planned schedules of hourly power outages will be in effect from 00:00 to 24:00. Information about any changes in power supply can be found on the official websites of regional power distribution companies.
The facilities are currently undergoing attack mitigation, demining and repair work. Restoration work will continue around the clock.
A large-scale repair campaign is also underway, with power engineers working to ensure the stability and integrity of the power system and prepare it for the autumn and winter period.
To maintain the stability of the power grid, it is important to use electricity rationally and economically.
Yesterday, the Ukrainian power system received emergency assistance from Slovakia and Poland.
