The situation in the power system as of April 27: the enemy attacked power facilities in three regions; due to network restrictions, blackout schedules are in effect in Kharkiv region and Kryvyi Rih.
GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Due to network restrictions on the transmission system operator's lines, blackout schedules were applied yesterday in Kharkiv region and for industry in Kryvyi Rih.
Restrictions in these regions are still in effect today. In other regions, consumers were not restricted yesterday.
Over the past day, consumers' needs were covered by domestic generation, commercial imports, and emergency assistance from Poland, Slovakia, and Romania. Ukraine also received surplus electricity from Poland's power system on an emergency basis at Poland's request. The total volume of emergency supplies amounted to less than 1% of daily electricity consumption.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
During the night, the enemy attacked energy infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv regions.
Power generation facilities were damaged. A shift supervisor was wounded at one of the facilities, and the power engineer sustained a concussion.
The enemy also attacked a gas infrastructure facility in the western region.
STATE OF THE GRID
In Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, high-voltage overhead lines were briefly disconnected.
In Odesa region, equipment at a regional power company substation was shut down for technological reasons. Household consumers were cut off. Within a few hours, all consumers were supplied with power.
EMERGENCIES
A mine in Donetsk region suffered a power outage. At that time, there were no workers underground. The enterprise is back in service.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 6629 MWh.
Exports are also expected to be 1158 MWh.
