Serhii Shkarlet noted that the United Kingdom is a reliable friend, strategic partner and one of Ukraine's most powerful allies.

"The British government is promoting the academic research of Ukrainian scientists, including a £ 3 million aid package for researchers. Also extremely important support for Ukraine is the termination of cooperation with Russia in the scientific field, "said the Minister.

Serhii Shkarlet told Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean Vicky Ford that scientific infrastructure were being severely damaged by russia's military aggression. In this regard, the Ministry has identified the main areas of education that currently need the support of partners. The Minister presented to Vicky Ford a package of project proposals with the needs for solving urgent problems of Ukrainian education and science in the war and post-war periods.

For her part, the Minister noted that the United Kingdom is ready to examine these proposals and assist in their implementation.

In addition, during the forum, Serhii Shkarlet met with representatives of the Amazon global company. The sides discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects in the field of education.

It will be recalled that Serhii Shkarlet announced measures to ensure the right of children to education and the right of teachers to work with temporarily occupied territories.
