Fellow Ukrainians!
I sincerely congratulate us all on the Independence Day of Ukraine.
It is the major national holiday that symbolises the strength of spirit and greatness of the Ukrainian people.
It is a holiday made possible by the heroism and courage of Ukrainian defenders.
Thanks to them, Ukraine remains a free, democratic and independent State.
It remains a country whose future is closely linked to the European Union and the civilised world.
This holiday is also possible thanks to all those who work in the home front.
People who produce weapons,
volunteers who help the army,
workers of critical infrastructure,
rescuers, power engineers, doctors and teachers.
To everyone who brings the liberation of Ukrainian land from the occupiers closer. To everyone who brings our victory closer.
I believe that the Ukrainian flag will once again fly over the liberated Ukrainian cities and villages.
The blue and yellow banner will certainly return to Crimea, Donbas, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.
I know that thousands of people who are currently under occupation will be free again.
I know that Ukrainians who have gone abroad will return home to build a successful State.
Let's be united, let's be unbreakable, let's be determined in our pursuit of freedom and justice.
I wish strength and endurance to each and every one of those who defend the State.
Together, we will definitely withstand, win and rebuild our Ukraine!
Glory to Ukraine!
