Prime Minister took part in a solemn event on the occasion of the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine

A solemn event on the occasion of the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine was held in Kyiv, with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal also took part in the ceremony to raise the largest flag in Ukraine.

“Under the blue and yellow flag, Ukraine is making new history today. Our defenders are fighting for the freedom and independence of our country. They are defending its future. We will definitely win. And we will raise the Ukrainian flag over all our towns and villages,” Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal congratulated the people on the holiday.

The ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and the Ukrainian military.
