From September last year, the Government has launched a new initiative – the baby box. These boxes include the most needed things for the newborns. 270,000 packages have already been given during this period. This was announced Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. Today, on August 21, the Prime Minister during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine presented the current state of affairs in the economy, social, education, medicine, defense sectors and outlined the main priorities that need to be continued.
As the Head of Government emphasized, care is not only about the children, but also about the parents. For them E-Malyatko program was launched- a set of electronic services to help parents on a one-time appeal. Services can be used at any time convenient for parents through the Internet.
The Municipal Nanny project is another supportive initiative for parents who work and need help with baby care. The payment for the services of such personnel will be partially compensated from the budget. It should be noted that the nurse must be officially employed when concluding an agreement with parents. The search for nanny is unlimited and parents can also apply online.
From April 1, Government introduced assistance to large families than envisages additional payments to the tune of UAH 1,700 per child from the third. Payments will be made until the child reaches the age of 6.
