eDopomoha platform and the U.S. Committee for Open Democracy work together through the project Help Ukraine 22 - Operation Palyanytsia to support Ukrainians

The platform eDopomoha, established by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, represented by the State Enterprise Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, and the U.S. Committee for Open Democracy through the project Help Ukraine 22 - Operation Palyanytsia concluded a memorandum on cooperation and interaction for the sake of provision of charitable financial and humanitarian aid, technical support in the implementation of the most targeted assistance to a larger amount of people in Ukraine affected by the war.

"The support of the world is crucial for Ukraine. We welcome the interaction and cooperation of the eDopomoha platform with the U.S. Committee for Open Democracy through the Help Ukraine 22: Operation Palyanytsia project to help Ukrainians. It is targeted assistance that will enable people to withstand difficult times.

The Committee financially supports the technical part of the platform eDopomoha as well as charitable and public organizations that interact with the platform and deliver food, hygiene products and other goods to people affected by the war. We continue to unite the whole world!" Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Kostiantyn Koshelenko commended such cooperation and interaction.

Konstantyn Koshelenko also informed that the Committee had already provided the first charitable financial support to the SE Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Social Policy, which will be aimed at developing the platform and supporting people involved in the development of the platform.

For his part, Matthew Kreitman, Head of the Humanitarian Response Unit of the U.S. Committee for Open Democracy, which launched the Help Ukraine 22 - Operation Palyanytsia project, expressed support for Ukraine and all Ukrainians in the fight for freedom and democracy.

"We fully support the Ukrainian Government's ability to use the country's IT talent and the success of e-government for a rapid humanitarian response.

It's a fast, innovative tool that uses technology and data to help more people in need.

We cana see the success of decentralization reform on a daily basis: local governments coordinate support from NGOs, volunteers and IGOs to help their communities. eDopomoha digitizes most of this and enables for help to more people in Ukraine and abroad.

We are actively working to integrate our data, as well as U.S. suppliers of humanitarian goods, to help eDopomoha and the Ministry of Social Policy during this humanitarian crisis," said Matthew Kreitman, Head of Humanitarian Response Department at the U.S. Committee for Open Democracy.
