The Ministry of Internal Affairs is doing everything possible to return citizens home, announced First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin.
"Units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are doing everything it takes to make the return of citizens home as safe as possible. Thanks to the joint and coordinated work of pyrotechnics of the SES, the National Police and the National Guard in the Kyiv region, approximately 120,000 explosive devices were neutralized. At present, all major transport routes are secured, as well as the area around critical infrastructure," the official said.
Yevhen Yenin noted that further priorities remain the demining of territories in Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and other regions that have been hit by the enemy.
The First Deputy Minister urged citizens to remain vigilant and avoid visiting tree belt areas or walking along the territories not inspected by special services.
"Almost every day we record blasts of ammunition, whether agricultural machinery is affected or citizens get injuries while visiting forest belts. Once again, I would like to draw attention to the fact that people must refrain from visiting the territories that were under the temporary occupation of russian troops," the First Deputy Minister summed up.
