The Mriia educational ecosystem launches the Mriia.Preschool pilot program in six regions of Ukraine
The Mriia state educational ecosystem will soon expand to include preschool education. The Mriia.Preschool pilot program will begin in six regions of Ukraine. This new initiative aims to simplify daily processes in preschools, reduce paperwork, and improve communication with parents.
Preschools will test the functions of Mriia.Preschool in their daily operations. The web portal and app will feature digital journals and profiles for groups, children, and teachers. These tools are designed to help track attendance, plan lessons, and communicate with parents. This will allow teachers to complete routine tasks more quickly, while enabling administrators to manage operations and reporting more efficiently.
“Mriia.Preschool reduces the bureaucratic burden on teachers and frees up more time for interacting with children and their education. For parents, it primarily means access to information about how their child’s day went at preschool. In the context of war, it is also a matter of peace of mind, trust, and quick communication with the institution. The state is systematically investing in preschool education—in safe spaces, equipment, and digital solutions that improve the daily experience of children, parents, and educators. In particular, the Ministry of Education and Science is working to secure funding for technical equipment for preschools under the LEARN for Preschool program,” noted Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Parents will have easy access to information about their child’s day at preschool—including the educational activities, leisure time, and teachers’ observations. This will help them better understand how their child’s day unfolds and reduce their anxiety.
The pilot program will take place in the Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. After the test phase is complete, Mriia.Preschool will become available to all preschool education institutions in Ukraine.
Using Mriia will be free for kindergartens, teachers, and parents and will not require funding from local budgets. After the pilot concludes, any preschool education institution will have the opportunity to join Mriia. To be among the first to join, the administration can submit an application on the website right now: https://mriia.gov.ua/en/app#preschool.
Mriia has already undergone a pilot phase during the launch of its features for schools. Today, the ecosystem covers over 3,650 general secondary education institutions—that is, one in four in Ukraine. The experience gained will also be applied to preschool education to accelerate the implementation of convenient and effective solutions.
