
Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 29, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 11,757 (1,054 children out of this number, 242 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 12,617,990 vaccines have been made.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 7,000,535 people have been vaccinated. On September 29, 2021, 126,003 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 35,732 – CoronaVac vaccine, 69,429 – Comirnaty vaccine, 20,842 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 0.
Vaccination was carried out by 915 mobile immunization teams, 3,029 vaccination points and 348 vaccination centers.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,556 persons, 194 patients died, 3,839 persons recovered. There have been conducted 93,356 testings (46,604 using the PCR method, 10,626 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 36,126).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,423,379 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 2,255,191 people recovered;
- 56,274 people died;
- 12,829,867 testings have been conducted.
