Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 27, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 6,552 (574 children out of this number, 165 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 12,359,741 vaccines have been made.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 6,851,531 people have been vaccinated. On September 27, 2021, 119,378 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 35,400 – CoronaVac vaccine, 60,484 – Comirnaty vaccine, 23,494 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 0.
Vaccination was carried out by 896 mobile immunization teams, 2,971 vaccination points and 344 vaccination centers.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,288 persons, 143 patients died, 2,927 persons recovered. There have been conducted 65,812 testings (31,051 using the PCR method, 9,067 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 25,694).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,401,956 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 2,248,071 people recovered;
- 55,863 people died;
- 12,741,131 testings have been conducted.
