On September 27, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleg Uruskyi held an official meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Radek Matula.
The key topic of discussion was the organization and holding of the 9th meeting of the Ukrainian-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, as well as the Ukrainian-Czech Business Business Forum within the framework of the Commission slated for October 18-19 in Kyiv.
The parties outlined topics for discussion in the context of deepening economic, investment and scientific and technological cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, as co-chair of the Ukrainian-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, expressed confidence that effective work would contribute to the extending of bilateral trade and economic relations.
"We have a common understanding that there are significant prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in both traditional and high-tech and innovative sectors of the economy, including engineering, development of the defense industry and aerospace industry," said Oleg Uruskyi.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and in his person the Czech Republic for a clear position in supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
