  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the data presented by the  Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of on June 26, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 41,117 COVID-19 cases, 18,299 people recovered, 1,067 patients died. During the 24 hours, 1,109 new cases have been confirmed.

    A total of 620,624 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method and  176,965 samples using ELISA method.

    In total 3,071 cases among children and 6,420 cases among healthcare workers were recorded.  
    11, 015 people were hospitalized. There are 378 people undergoing treatment with the use of artificial lung ventilation machines. 30,102 patients have been undergoing outpatient treatment.3,921 healthcare workers have recovered.

    In total, COVID-19 cases were registered:

    Vinnytsia region – 1,788 cases (1,111 recovered);

    Volyn region – 2,096 cases (681 recovered);

    Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,081 cases (903 recovered);

    Donetsk region – 412 (159 recovered);

    Zhytomyr region – 1,366 cases (719 recovered);

    Zakarpattia region – 2,547 cases (917 ecovered);

    Zaporizhia region – 561 cases (405 recovered);

    Ivano-Frankivsk region – 2,217 cases (1,091 recovered);

    Kyiv – 4,726 cases (1,489 recovered);

    Kyiv region – 2,419 cases (1,236 recovered);

    Kirovohrad region – 640 cases (525 recovered);

    Luhansk region – 76 cases (55 recovered);

    Lviv region – 4,836 cases (725 recovered);

    Mykolaiv region - 384 cases (278 recovered);

    Odesa region – 1,529 cases (637 recovered);

    Poltava region – 304 cases (268 recovered);

    Rivne region – 3,364 cases (1,682 recovered);

    Sumy region – 284 cases (203 recovered);

    Ternopil region – 1,857 cases (1,109 recovered);

    Kharkiv region – 1,993 cases (1,021 recovered);

    Kherson region – 190 cases (175 recovered);

    Khmelnytsky region - 724 cases (526 recovered);

    Cherkasy region – 627 cases (439 recovered);

    Chernivtsi region – 4,582 cases (1,800 recovered);

    Chernihiv region – 514 cases (145 recovered);

    Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.

    The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine urges when having the first symptoms of respiratory illnesses to call a family doctor. Stay home! Self-isolation is the most efficient way to protect yourself from infection.
