IDPs can apply online for assistance to cover living expenses, says Prime Minister

Internally displaced persons will be able to apply for assistance to cover living expenses through the Diia portal. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on November 3.

"In order to receive the service, it will no longer be necessary to resubmit a certificate of registration of internally displaced person, as this will happen due to the synchronization of the Diia portal with the information systems of the Ministry of Social Policy," Denys Shmyhal underscored.

During the sitting, the Government simplified the application procedure and assigned appropriate assistance to IDPs to cover living expenses. According to the Prime Minister, this decision will allow thousands of people not to spend time in queues in offices and eradicate unnecessary bureaucratic procedures.
