The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution approving the Regulations on the Unified Information System of the National Informatisation Programme. This will help determine its main tasks and functionality, as well as the rights of its users.
In addition, the resolution will enable the technical administrator of the SE "DIIA" to develop and administer the system.
The introduction of the system will make it possible to make informatisation projects public, as well as to generate analytical reports and statistics. More than 41,000 legal entities are expected to use the system.
In December last year, the Verkhovna Rada passed a bill on the National Informatisation Programme. It will help government agencies and local governments communicate with each other faster and make effective decisions. And Ukrainians will enjoy much faster access to the necessary public services.
In addition, the implementation of the National Informatisation Programme will enable faster introduction of digital technologies, creation, modernisation and development of information, and information and communication systems, information technology tools, as well as enhanced cyber security of critical information infrastructure.
