Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories delivers humanitarian aid to university evacuated from Mariupol
On April 26, the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, together with the international humanitarian organization WorldCentral Kitchen, delivered humanitarian aid to the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, which has now moved from Mariupol to Kryvyy Rih.
The cargo, in particular, included 250 food packages (15 kg each) and other foodstaffs. Appropriate assistance will provide the priority humanitarian needs of more than 350 cadets and academic staff of the educational institution.
Background
Currently, the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories together with partners is developing a concept of a special platform, which aims to focus on the organization of assistance and support to the residents of Mariupol.
It should be noted in order to provide the necessary assistance in a systematic, timely and high-quality manner, international and Ukrainian charitable foundations, volunteers, donors from abroad, local and regional self-government bodies, the Government and the Parliament are involved.
