There are numerous projects being implemented in the region with the participation of the the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank, which enabled the implementation of energy efficiency measures. Local residents received new trolleybuses bought with the assistance of  EBRD. And in April next year in Zhytomyr, the first stage of the solar power plant should be launched. The cooperation of Zhytomyr universities with the EU in the field of education is incredibly important.
