  • Prime Minister: We are to do our utmost to prevent populists from jeopardizing economic growth

    The reckless and populist decisions are capable to stop  economic growth, and this can not be tolerated - even during the period of election turbulence. This was stated by  Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the Government sitting. One of the topics was the analysis of the current economic situation and the adoption of further deregulation initiatives.

    "It is important for us to have a strong and blooming economy, and to ensure that  politicians could not  could jeopardize its growth by senseless and populist actions," Volodymyr Groysman said. - "Over three and a half years in Ukraine  more than 150 industrial objects were created. New technologies, enterprises are coming to Ukraine. And we need to dynamically solve those problems that affect the development of the economy".

    The Head of Government emphasized that citizens should benefit from the growth of  economy. That is why all economic achievements will be invested in new standards of living and in the introduction of new technologies.

    "We are entering the pre-election period. I hope that most Ukrainian politicians who have thirst for political victory will still be guided by reality.  We must work together to make Ukraine strong", the Prime Minister said. - "We need investments. We are changing the system of state supervision. Thus, we will get new controlling bodies who will monitor clear control indicators. And so we will provide a new quality of services".

    At the same time, according to the Head of Government, Ukraine needs stability. "In this regard, the adoption of the draft State Budget which is balanced in terms of income and expenditures is incredibly important. We have to mention stable growth. We are working to ensure that every family benefits from it", the Prime Minister underscored.
