  • Prime Minister about the pollution of the Ros River: The situation is under control (updated)

    The situation, which occurred because of chemical pollution of the Ros river, is under control, all services are working in synergy and they are monitoring the situation. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman claimed while talking to media outlets in Vinnytsia region.

    " he State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU), the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection work on monitoring the state of possible pollution. But according to my information, the situation is under control, there are no threats, all the services are working to monitor the situation and take the necessary measures. I believe that it is necessary to follow the instructions of the SESU  - and everything will be fine", Volodymyrt Groysman stressed.

    The Head of Government commented on the updated information from the SESU.

    I have just received information from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute of the SESU. There is currently no danger to water supplies for cities, which receive water from the Ros River. Water supply systems in the region are operating normally", Volodymyr Groysman added.
