The Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund has approved a program to support the energy modernization of condominiums. As of September, condominiums will be able to apply for the Energohouse program, receive grants and upgrade their homes, and reduce energy consumption, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko wrote on his FB page.
"Hard work has been done over the last few years: legislation, negotiations and cooperation with the European Union and the Government of Germany, in particular, receiving funding, developing procedures, testing - and finally a full start. International partners, experts of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, lawmakers, the staff of the Energy Efficiency Fund the public and the condominiums - ambitious team, ambitious goals and objectives, ambition to make Ukraine energy independent! ", Hennadii Zubko stated.
The Deputy Prime Minister placed a special emphasis on the unprecedented step - creation of a transparent European institution in Ukraine aimed to make the country energy efficient.
Hennadii Zubko emphasized that the Program of the Energy Efficiency Fund envisages partial reimbursement of energy efficiency measures in the amount of 40% of the cost of acceptable measures / works for the Light package and 50% for the Integrated package. The first 300 applications will receive an additional grant to the tune of 20%.
