Over 115,000 families have benefited from the eVidnovlennia programme: Denys Shmyhal
More than 115,000 Ukrainian families have utilised the Government’s eVidnovlennia programme, receiving funds to repair damaged homes or purchase new housing through housing certificates, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced during a Cabinet meeting on 7 July.
Specifically, 97,000 families received payments for the restoration of damaged property, while nearly 20,000 families were compensated to purchase new homes in place of those destroyed.
“Housing is a Government priority within the framework of ‘rapid recovery,’ and we will strive to assist every family that has lost their home,” Denys Shmyhal emphasised.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the ongoing implementation of the affordable mortgage programme, eOselia.
“Nearly 18,000 families have received preferential mortgages, with more than half of them being military personnel, security sector workers, and veterans,” Denys Shmyhal noted, adding that the Government will continue to develop more targeted programmes and provide increased support for defenders.
