Government extends living allowance for internally displaced people for a further six months
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution developed by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity. The resolution extends state support for internally displaced people and clarifies certain conditions governing eligibility for and payment of the living allowance.
Internally displaced people who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to receive the allowance for a further six-month period. The maximum number of such periods has been increased from five to six.
The mechanism for extending the allowance for eligible children in internally displaced families has also been clarified. Their payments will be renewed automatically for the next six-month period.
In addition, the procedure for appealing decisions by the Pension Fund of Ukraine has been clarified in accordance with legislative requirements.
