Farmers of Kirovohrad region received largest amount of loans since beginning of year under Affordable Loans at 5-7-9 programme

Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian farmers have received almost UAH 33.4 billion in bank loans for farm development, including UAH 18.9 billion received by 5,000 enterprises under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9 programme.

The largest amount of loans under various programmes was received by farmers in the following regions:

• Kyiv region – UAH 7.2 billion;
• Vinnytsia region – UAH 3.7 billion,
• Dnipropetrovsk region – UAH 2.7 billion;
• Kirovohrad region – UAH 2.6 billion;
• Odesa region – UAH 2.2 billion.

Agricultural enterprises from the following regions received the most funds under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9 programme:

• Kirovohrad region – UAH 2.3 billion for 750 farms;
• Vinnytsia region – UAH 2 billion for 656 farms;
• Odesa region – UAH 1.9 billion for 493 farms;
• Kyiv region – UAH 1.8 billion for 393 farms.

The Affordable Loans at 5-7-9 programme simplifies access to bank lending for micro and small businesses. Farmers can receive a loan of up to UAH 90 million. Loans are provided at 5-9% per annum, depending on the loan category and business entity.
