On 13 November, the international exhibition and conference ReBuild Ukraine Construction and Energy opened at EXPO XXI in Warsaw and will last for two days. The main goal of the event is to join efforts to restore Ukraine’s war-affected economy, with a focus on infrastructure projects, industry, energy and the residential sector.
ReBuild Ukraine Construction and Energy offers unique opportunities for international investors, providing them with access to reconstruction and development projects in Ukraine. This year, the exhibition will bring together international financial institutions, donors, investors, energy construction companies, energy equipment manufacturers, developers and state-owned energy companies.
The exhibition brings together more than 5,500 participants from 30 countries and about 500 international exhibitors. Among them are GE Vernova, Samsung, Arcelor Mittal, Panasonic, Maersk and Siemens. There are also 63 Ukrainian companies, including DTEK, Metinvest, Caparol and Kness. The national pavilions represent 18 countries, including Austria, Canada, the Netherlands, Slovakia, the USA and others.
The event will feature 7 conferences and 6 specialised workshops where experts, public and private sector representatives will discuss the opportunities and challenges facing Ukraine on its path to recovery and integration into the EU.
The exhibition was opened with a press briefing with representatives of the Governments of Poland, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, and Canada. As part of the exhibition, Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, opened the EU-Ukraine Investment Conference with a video address. The conference is the first event of its kind to attract private direct investment from the EU to Ukraine. The conference is organised by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine in cooperation with the European Commission.
Special attention will be paid to the National Pavilion of Ukraine, where 18 Ukrainian communities are represented. In addition, about 100 Ukrainian communities will take part in the conference. The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Energy will also open their stands at the exhibition.
ReBuild Ukraine Construction and Energy aims to attract financial resources and investments for the reconstruction, modernisation and European integration of Ukraine by actively engaging the private sector of EU countries in reconstruction projects.
