Volodymyr Kistion met with newly formed Supervisory Board of new independent operator of the gas transmission system

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion held a first meeting with a newly formed Supervisory Board of the new independent operator of the national gas transmission system - Mahistralni Hazoprovody Ukrainy PJSC.

The parties exchanged views on the launch of the independent operator, taking into account the ruling of the Stockholm arbitration court, and also outlined the agenda for the near future. The burning tasks are to approve managing board of MHU PJSC, staffing chart of the company and the strategic plan of work.

"The Government counts on fruitful cooperation between Supervisory Boards of PJSC Mahistralni Hazoprovody Ukrainy and NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine in order to wind up the process of unbundling in accordance with the requirements of the Third Energy Package and in the interests of the country," the Vice Prime Minister underscored.
