A meeting of the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council took place
Today, May 29, Vice
Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko chaired a meeting
of the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council.
Those attending
the meeting discussed the situation, problems and prospects of development of
education sector, training of personnel for various branches of the economy
with accounting for the needs of the labor market, as well as the health care
reform and providing citizens with medicines and medical services.
"Both the
sphere of education and the sphere of healthcare are among the topmost priorities
in the Government’s work”, stressed Pavlo Rozenko on
opening the meeting. “I believe that high quality education is the key to the
development of Ukraine's economy and other areas as well."
Pavlo Rozenko noted that the Government pays great attention to upgrading
the health care sector. "We engage in solving global issues of reforming
the sector and also in the implementation of specific programs," he said.
"And, of
course, to reach efficiency in the implementation of these programs it is
crucial for us to have the support of employers, trade unions at both the
national and regional levels", explained the Vice Prime Minister.
On the results of the discussion of the aforesaid problems the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council adopted appropriate decisions.
