Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and members of the Cabinet of Ministers paid tribute to the victims of the Manchester Arena blast on Monday and laid flowers to the Embassy of Great Britain in Ukraine. The Head of Ukrainian Government also left a message in the Condolence Book at the Embassy and handed in a letter of condolences in connection with the tragedy to Prime Minister of Great Britain Theresa May.

"Tonight a terrible tragedy, a terrorist attack was taking place. I want to express my condolences and solidarity with Great Britain, the British people and to emphasize that we should stay together at these moments. The Ukrainian people and Ukraine share your pain with you at such terrible tragic moments", emphasized Volodymyr Groysman during communication with journalists.

The Head of Government noted that Ukraine is suffering daily attacks by militants and knows by experience what the struggle against terrorism means. The civilized world must be united to give an adequate response to terrorist acts and threats, to defend shared values and win, assures Volodymyr Groysman.

"Terrorism has no limits. These barbaric ideas can be brought to life anywhere in the world, but the global community must be strong and confront the spread of terrorism that has support in particular, of some countries-aggressors", he stressed.

In turn, UK Ambassador to Ukraine Judith Gough thanked the Prime Minister and the Government of Ukraine for support and solidarity.

"Yesterday, my country was shaken by the callous terrorist attack – the deplorable attack on young people who were enjoying a music concert. My sincere condolences to the families and friends of those killed and the victims, as well as courageous rescuers. Great Britain will never give in to (the threat of) terrorism", she emphasized.
