6 May in Riga, Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Tetiana Popova made a presentation on "NGOs and the media in the hybrid war. The Ukrainian experience 2 years after the invasion of Russia".
The seminar was also attended by Vyacheslav Husarov, an expert in information security for Military-political studies of Ukraine, Yevhen Mahda, the founder of the Bureau of countering hybrid warfare, associate Professor of the National Technical University of Ukraine, Andriy Panteleiev - the parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of defence of the Republic of Latvia.
Tetiana Popova during her report delivered a welcoming speech and spoke about the cooperation of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine with non-governmental organizations and journalists in countering the hybrid war.
"The launch under MIP the Embedded Journalism program, the renewal of broadcasting of TV and radio channels in the East and South of Ukraine, the release of new newspapers for the residents of Donbas, Kherson and Crimea, the proper use of means of strategic communication – all of these are the tools of the hybrid war resistance; they promote truthful reporting in the media", said Tetiana Popova.
