Situation in the east of Ukraine as of May 10, 2016

Over the past 24 hours, the situation has escalated in the region. The pro-Russian bandits have violated the ceasefire for 15 times.

In the evening the enemy shelled the Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka with grenade launchers, small arms and anti-air mounts, near Luhanske the enemy used grenade launchers and APC armament.

In Mariupol direction, the illegal armed formations fired on the Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne and Starohnativka where the enemy used grenade launchers, as well as anti-tank missile systems and APC armament.

In Luhansk direction, the bandits attacked the Ukrainian positions near Novooleksandrivka with small arms.

This morning, the militants have already violated the truce near Avdiivka, Starohnativka, and Mari’nka.
