The purpose of the visit of the delegation of the Council of Europe to Ukraine is to familiarize with the situation in non-governmental youth organizations in Ukraine and main problems faced by young people in Ukraine, as well as informing Ukrainian NGYOs about opportunities and projects proposed by the Council of Europe on the development of youth policy.

One of the tasks of the expert group is also to develop more fruitful cooperation between non-governmental youth organizations/networks with the state authorities of Ukraine.

The first session of the visit, which will take place in Lviv on September 21-22, will bring together 20 representatives of youth non-governmental organizations from the city of Lviv, as well as 10 representatives of NGYOs from other regions of Ukraine. The next session will be held in Kyiv on September 23.
