Israel will help Ukraine to treat military and civilians that suffered during the fighting in the east. This was discussed during a meeting between Vice Prime Minister- Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and the Municipal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko with Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Eliab Byelotserkovski.

The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine noted that "Ukraine now lives under constant military aggression and the Israeli experience - both to survive and develop in these conditions - is of extreme importance to us."

"We know about the accumulated experience and knowledge of Israel to provide not only medical but also psychological assistance to military and civilian victims during the war. The use of this experience as well as support of Israeli psychologists to Ukrainian colleagues will provide us with necessary tools for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian victims of hostilities in the east", Hennadii Zubko emphasized.

In his turn, Eliab Byelotserkovski stressed that Ukraine is an important partner of Israel: "We're endeavouring to help Ukraine by all means." The Ambassador expressed readiness of Israel to back Ukraine in setting up rehabilitation centers and attracting specialists for training Ukrainian psychologists and rehabilitators. "We have a wide experience as the country that constantly exists in the military conflict," the Ambassador noted.
