Ukrainian delegation participates in UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Germany

The delegation of
the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine headed by First Deputy Minister of Culture Ihor Lihovyi participates in the
39th session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO, which takes place in
Bonn, Germany.
The session of the
Committee will discuss the state of conservation of World Heritage sites under
threat, and those properties inscribed on the World Heritage List; updating of
these UNESCO lists.
The Ukrainian
delegation will report on the state of conservation of Ukrainian sites
inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, such as Saint-Sophia Cathedral,
Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Ensemble of the Historical Centre of Lviv.
