Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk is due to visit Berlin to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel
Through 7-8 January, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk is to
pay an official visit to Berlin at an invitation of Federal Chancellor of the
Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel.
The meeting of the Head of the Ukrainian Government and the Chancellor of
Germany is scheduled for January 8. It is expected that the Heads of the two
Governments will pay core attention to the
implementation of strategic reforms in Ukraine, financial and economic
situation of our state and an international support, cooperation in the
economic, investment and energy sectors. Peculiar attention will also be paid
to the situation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea and counteraction to
the aggressive policy of Russia.
In the framework of the visit to Germany Arseniy Yatsenyuk is scheduled to
meet with Federal President Joachim Gauck and Vice-Chancellor, Federal Minister for Economic
Affairs and Energy Sigmar Gabriel.
Moreover,
the visit’s agenda includes a meeting of Arseniy Yatsenyuk with representatives
of business circles of Germany.
