The Cabinet
of Ministers of Ukraine has equated payments for the loss of a breadwinner to
the families of law enforcement officers who died in the ATO
area to the level of payments to the families of killed servicemen of the Armed
Forces of Ukraine. These payments will amount UAH
609,000. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said this at a Government meeting on Wednesday,
November 5.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk has noted that the current payment to the
families of the dead soldiers equals UAH 609,000, to the
families of law enforcement officers - UAH 150,000:
"Today we make a decision about equal payments – UAH
609,000."
"I
realize that money won’t help settle a human tragedy, but it is the duty of the
state to the families," he stressed.
