Ministry of Regional Development: Social infrastructure objects of Slovyansk undergo restoration process

 The state of fulfillment works on restoration of social infrastructure in the liberated from the terrorists territories, in particular, in the city of Slovyansk, Donetsk region, which are implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development and local authorities, were discussed at a meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy of Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Dmitrii Isayenko.

 In the meeting were participating representatives of profile structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities and experts of Capital Construction Department of Slovyansk.

 The participants discussed the state of urban infrastructure, housing and utilities, residential buildings of Slovyansk, as well as possible solutions to problematic issues that slow down the work on restoration of the city life.

 According to Dmitrii Isayenko, presently a number of educational facilities of Slovyansk are being restored in order to be ready to the new school year.

 "The work on these objects is carried out at the expense of local budgets and extra-budgetary funds", - said the Deputy Minister.

 He stressed that the issue of restoration of the social sphere is under personal control of Deputy Prime Minister - Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Volodymyr Groysman. “There should not be delays. Restoration activities must be performed quickly and efficiently. If the residents join the process of reconstruction in their own localities, it will speed up the work of builders and ensure public control over the quality of restoration work," said Dmitrii Isayenko.

 According to the Deputy Minister, today works on repair of apartment buildings are being held. It is also necessary to rebuild 1.3 thousand private houses. To perform these works uses the funds from the Reserve Fund of the budget and if transferred – the funds of international humanitarian assistance by donor organizations and funds of sponsors’ as well.
