International group of experts investigating the Boeing-777 crash returned to their base in Soledar

Today the international group of experts, due to blocking of their journey by the column of terrorists within a certain period, managed to work at the Boeing 777 crash site within a short period of time - about one and a half hours. The experts searched in and around the villages of Krasny Luch, Petropavlivka and Moscovske. The experts succeeded in recovering personal belongings, such as passport and photo albums. 18 vehicles and 124 experts left for the crash site. Now the group of experts investigating the Boeing 777 crash returned to their base in Soledar.

Also today, the flight left from Kharkiv to the Netherlands. This flight transported what was recovered on Friday (1 August, 2014) and Saturday (2 August, 2014), and the DNA material that was stored in a mortuary in Donetsk.

Tomorrow, on August 5, 116 people with 14 vehicles will continue their efforts (among them 66 Dutch, 37 Australian and 13 Malaysian experts).

The transfer of responsibility for convoying the experts by DNR representatives will be organized in the north-eastern part of Debaltseve. During the whole operation in that area there will be no troops’ movements or shooting from the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine shall apply a ceasefire regime in the 20-km zone around the crash site during the experts’ work.
