The EU has allocated a further EUR 2.86 billion tranche to Ukraine under the defense component of the Ukraine Support Loan, Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi reported.

"As Russia intensifies its attacks on our cities and critical infrastructure, this support is vital. More drones, air defense systems, missiles and ammunition mean stronger protection for our people and greater capabilities for our defenders on the front line," the Head of Government emphasized.

According to him, the Government continues working with European partners to ensure the rest of the defense funding is delivered without delay.

The Prime Minister thanked European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Commissioner Andrius Kubilius and all EU member states for their steadfast commitment to Ukraine's defense and our shared European security.
