Vitalii Yarema: Government did everything within power to ensure holding elections of the President of Ukraine on May 25

http://www.kmu.gov.ua/img/1x1.gifThe Government had done everything in its power to ensure holding presidential elections in Ukraine on May 25. The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vitalii Yarema announced during a meeting with U.S. Federal Judge of the Court of Federal Claims Bohdan A. Futey, President of Ukrainian Congress Committee of America Tamara Olexii and Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Cleveland of the United States of America Andrew Futey who are paying a visit to Ukraine to participate in the international observers’ mission at the elections of the President of Ukraine.

Vitalii Yarema thanked the representatives of Ukrainian Diaspora in U.S.A. for the support and assistance in increasing attention of the United States to the problems of Ukraine.  

In the course of the meeting the parties discussed the current situation in Ukraine and focused on issues joined to the presidential elections in Ukraine due this week. The international observers expressed hopes the elections would be transparent and democratic despite the difficulties Ukraine was facing these days.

Vitalii Yarema stressed: “The Government did everything in power to ensure holding of the elections of the President of Ukraine on May 25”. Moreover, he expressed belief there wouldn’t be rigging in the elections’ process.
