Ostap Semerak: Through the two months 25 thousand functionaries have been cut
Throughout the two months of activity
the Government of Ukraine has cut around 25 thousand functionaries all around
the country.
The Minister of the Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine Ostap Semerak
said in the interview with the Tyzhden magazine, on
May 23.

“It makes up 10% of those who work
in state authorities,” the top official stressed. Ostap Semerak explained that a decision to reduce
each separate employee had been taken by administrative staff on an
individual basis. “For instance, in the Secretariat
of the Cabinet of Ministers people were cut based on the decision of the head
of relevant subdivision. There were those who were working worse, some people
left for political reasons. Some of my staff resigned in connection with
their political views. Obviously, they started feeling uncomfortably here,” the
Minister of Cabinet of Ministers told. |
