The State Audit Service of Ukraine will audit 21 district heating providers (DHP) for compliance with tariff formation for the population. Hennadii Zubko, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, said at a conference call with the regions while considering the progress of regions in the preparation for the heating season.

“Our objective is to check the effectiveness of tariffs set by DHPs on the ground. In most cases, they are unreasonable and irrelevant. Enterprises with the highest tariff - from UAH 1,800 to 2,300 per 1 GCal - are included in this list. In particular, the town of Barvinkove (Kharkiv region) - UAH 2,276 per 1GCal, Vinnitsaoblteploenerho, Volodymyr-Volynskteplocomunenerho, Smilateplocomunenerho and others. In almost all regions, there are such places”, Hennadii Zubko emphasized.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that all the providers should treat that with understanding. "The efficiency declared by district heating supply companies must be documented", summed up Hennadii Zubko.
