Yulia Svyrydenko: Government launches a new service for veterans in Diia

Department of Information and Public Communications of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, posted 16 June 2026 16:18

The Government is launching a new service for both male and female veterans and their families in the Diia. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

“Now one can submit a single application and immediately receive several public services: a one-time cash benefit from the Ministry for Veterans Affairs, social services, the status of a person with a war-related disability, or the status of a family member of a fallen Defender of Ukraine,” said the Head of Government. “Previously, separate applications had to be submitted for each service. For example, you first had to apply for disability status, wait for a decision—and only then submit a separate application for financial assistance. Now everything can be submitted at once, through a single electronic application. You no longer need to visit various agencies in person.”

All the services are available to apply via a single electronic form at the following link:

Applications are processed within 5–30 calendar days, depending on the selected services. The results of the review can be obtained online through the Diia portal.

Most of the data is automatically downloaded from official registries. However, in some cases, the applicant may be asked to provide additional documents.
