Yulia Svyrydenko: Frontline regions remain the priority for the Government
Frontline regions are the focus of the Government’s work. During a working visit to the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko focused on protecting logistics and critical infrastructure, preparing for winter, supporting the region’s medical professionals, and opportunities for entrepreneurs and farmers.
“We are strengthening the protection of roads together with the Kherson Military State Administration—this is a matter of defense capability, rapid evacuation, and the functioning of communities. UAH 96 million will be allocated to establish network corridors on priority routes. We will direct UAH 3.5 billion in additional subsidies toward repairs of roads near the front lines,” the Head of Government noted.
Preparations for the coming winter are underway as part of the Resilience Plans: Prime Minister inspected the construction of protective structures for energy infrastructure and water supply facilities.
A separate priority is supporting medical staff and retaining specialists in hospitals. The Government continues to make payments to medical facilities based on staff numbers, and together with the region, we are developing a housing support program.
The safety of education and children is also a focus. Yulia Svyrydenko visited PROSTIR Kherson at one of the schools. She expressed her gratitude to all teachers and educators who work with children amid security threats, supporting their development and mental health.
“We are creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs and farmers in the region, developing land irrigation, and preparing to expand support programs.
Thank you to everyone who works and supports life in the frontline areas of Kherson and Mykolayiv regions even despite the daily shelling of the enemy,” the Prime Minister stressed.
