The members of the Council will provide recommendations to the Ministry of Economy to ensure Ukraine's rapid recovery and development.

"We are committed to creating a stable macroeconomic environment for human capital development, attracting foreign direct investment and ensuring sustainable economic growth. An important task of the newly created Advisory Council is to provide constant recommendations for the development of an effective policy for rebuilding Ukraine during the war and after the victory," said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

The Advisory Board will include the following leading economists:

The Council will be chaired by Yuriy Gorodnichenko, Quantedge Presidential Professor of Economics Department of Economics, University of California, Berkeley.

"Ukraine has a difficult path ahead of it, and only it can do its homework and transform into a modern country with strong democratic institutions and a dynamic economy. The international community offers unwavering support to Ukraine during the war and in the post-war period," said Yuriy Gorodnichenko.

He added that the newly created Council would focus on developing recommendations on the architecture of Ukraine's recovery, including fiscal and monetary policy, the situation on the labor market, and government regulations. The recommendations will also be taken into account when preparing the Ukraine Plan for the Ukraine Facility program.

"We already have developments that will help shape Ukraine's recovery policy. In particular, these are measures that will ensure macro-financial stability, stimulate economic development and increase state budget revenues," said Tymofiy Mylovanov.

Thus, the international economists who are members of the Council have prepared a study "Post-War Macroeconomic Architecture of Ukraine", which contains recommendations for reforms and other necessary measures to ensure economic recovery and development of the state.
