Yulia Svyrydenko held conference call on the operation of the country's energy system and life support infrastructure
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko held a conference call with the heads of regional state administrations on the state of the country's energy system and life support.
According to her, in the regions most affected by shelling, energy companies are carrying out restoration work amid constant enemy attacks, low temperatures below -10 degrees Celsius, as well as icing of equipment and power lines.
The most difficult situation remains in certain areas of Kyiv and on the left bank of the Kyiv region, in particular in the Boryspil and Brovary districts. A separate focus is on restoring electricity supply to consumers in Odesa, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions, where the situation is complicated after night shelling. The main task is to restore electricity and heat supply to all homes.
Yulia Svyrydenko stressed that critical infrastructure is operating without interruption. More than 7,000 resilience points have been deployed throughout the country. Traffic on major highways is ensured, and roads are being cleared by special equipment.
"Local authorities are organizing the work of educational institutions, taking into account local weather conditions. We are monitoring the restoration of the power system. The Government is in constant coordination with the heads of regional military administrations and is providing all necessary support," the Prime Minister stressed.
Yulia Svyrydenko thanked the energy workers and all services for their continuous titanic efforts to restore the system.
