  • eVidnovlennia: over 1,400 applicants received financial assistance for home repairs

As part of the eVidnovlennia (eRecovery) programme, 1,409 applicants received financial assistance for minor repairs to their homes damaged by the armed aggression of the russian federation. Over UAH 115 million has been credited to the applicants’ accounts.

“There is still a lot of work to be done – since the launch of the programme on 10 May, Ukrainians have submitted 24,724 applications. Despite the fact that local governments have set up 510 commissions, the pace of processing applications is insufficient.

Once again, I urge communities to get the commissions up and running. Their effectiveness depends on how quickly people can return to their homes. Resources are available – the Government has allocated UAH 4.4 billion to implement the programme, and mechanisms and digital tools have been created – but we need local ownership.

We are taking a comprehensive approach to solving the problem of housing for Ukrainians. This includes systemic changes in housing policy, which we are discussing with our European partners, state compensation programmes and the direct implementation of recovery projects,” commented Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development.

Citizens will be able to use the funds to buy building materials and pay for repairs.

A total of 24,724 applications have been submitted since 10 May, when the eVidnovlennia service was launched.
