Last week, 191 Ukrainians were granted loans for the purchase of housing under the eOselia (eHousing) program for a total amount of UAH 272 million. Since the start of the program, 3,099 families have already received preferential mortgage loans worth UAH 4.4 billion. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Nadiia Bihun.
"3,099 Ukrainian families have already received preferential mortgage loans under the government's eOselia program and will be eligible to purchase housing. Banks have issued such loans for UAH 4.4 billion. Last week alone, almost 200 Ukrainians took out loans under the program. 63% of them are military and security personnel. A total of 74% of mortgage loans have been issued to this category of Ukrainians since the start of the program, 13% of loans were granted to teachers and scientists, and 10% - to doctors. I would like to remind you that all of them enjoy a preferential lending rate of 3%. However, starting from August 1, all Ukrainians in need of housing can take advantage of the eOselia program - they can take out a loan at 7% and 80 families have already received such loans," said Nadiia Bihun.

Today, the affordable lending program is available to representatives of certain professions and citizens who do not own housing or want to improve their living conditions. For contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, teachers, doctors and scientists, the preferential rate is 3% per annum. For other categories - combatants, veterans, IDPs, and other citizens - the mortgage rate is 7%.

The eOselia program was launched in October last year. The program is implemented by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ukrfinzhytlo and Diia. The partner banks of eOselia are Oschadbank, Privatbank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank and Ukreximbank.
