Today, on June 26, 2025, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleh Nemchynov together with the Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention Viktor Pavlushchyk held a meeting of the Coordination Working Group on Anti-Corruption Policy.
The Coordination Working Group on Anti-Corruption Policy is an advisory body under the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, co-chaired by the Head of the National Agency and the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The purpose of the Working Group is to assist the National Agency in coordinating the actions of public authorities in implementing the Anti-Corruption Strategy and Program. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approves its members. The National Agency informs the Coordination Working Group on Anti-Corruption Policy on the progress and dynamics of the implementation of measures and the achievement of expected strategic results.
The current Anti-Corruption Strategy, which is approved by the Parliament and has the legal effect of a law, has set a rather ambitious goal for the entire state - to ensure the development and implementation of an effective, consistent and efficient anti-corruption policy. In the Strategy, the Parliament outlined the key issues in the field of preventing and combating corruption and formulated the expected strategic results to be achieved during its term. In order to achieve these results and solve the identified problems, in March 2023, the Government approved the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025, which provides for the implementation of 1,146 measures assigned to more than 120 state institutions," said Oleh Nemchinov, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Co-Chairman of the Coordination Working Group on Anti-Corruption Policy.
During the event, the general state of implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025 was presented, key achievements during the implementation period were noted, and the main priorities for the implementation of measures in 2025 were identified.
The proper implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy and the State Anti-Corruption Program will ensure a significant reduction in the level of corruption in Ukraine and will contribute to further development of good governance, increase the reputation capital of the Program executors, increase public confidence in the government, and overall development of pluralistic democracy. In addition, the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy and the State Anti-Corruption Program is also an integral part of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration and shall contribute to Ukraine's further advancement towards membership in the European Union, the North Atlantic Alliance and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
